Heart of a SoldierStatus: In Development, Script
True story: two soldiers, Rick Rescorla from England, Dan Hill from USA, met back in the 1960s. They fought together with distinction in Vietnam, but found adjusting to peacetime tougher than soldiering. Their lifelong friendship came to a critical climax when Dan, who had converted to Islam, heard rumours that threatened the World Trade Center, where Rick was working as head of security at a bank. On the fateful day of 9/11, armed with the experience of having drilled the bank staff to evacuate the building, Rick saved the lives of all but a dozen of his 3,000 staff in the Twin Towers. True to his military training Rick re-entered the collapsing building to look for stragglers. He never re-emerged.
The film is based on the book Heart of a Soldier by James B. Stewart, the Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist at the New York Times. We envision the project as a major motion picture and have enlisted A-list writer Christopher Hampton who is currently writing the script.
Mr Ping PongStatus: In Development, Script
Mr Ping Pong is the extraordinary true story of Ivor Montagu, an eccentric English aristocrat who embraced communism in his student years, took up film-making [producing Alfred Hitchcock's first six movies and working with Sergei Eisenstein in Hollywood] before becoming a low-level spy for Britain during the second world war. But the pinnacle of his career was as life-President of the International Table Tennis Federation whereby he deployed his passion for the sport as a 'pathway to peace'. In China in the 1950s, Montagu made a personal promise to Chairman Mao that he would steer the Chinese to becoming world champions, a promise he fulfilled in 1961. His triumph paved the way for what became called 'ping-pong diplomacy' and so he created the first thaw in the Cold War.
Mr Ping Pong is a 90 minute feature film filled with drama, sport and comedy which will be shot in London and China.
The Last ResortStatus: In Development

In an African country where life is cheap and chaos is king, the family and their workers pull together to form a unexpected close, familial bond.
They survive together by adapting to the times, using increasingly bizarre and comic means, such as hiring out their cottage as a party venue for the same corrupt officials who are trying to dispossess them.
